We are proud to organize the first Alzheimerās Awareness Walk in Union County, in partnership with the Alzheimerās Association and the City of Monroe.
This premier community event is designed to support caregivers and families navigating Alzheimerās and dementia by connecting them with valuable local resources, education, and support services.
Free to attend and open to the community
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
Meet local organizations that support caregivers
Learn about Dementia care resources available in Union County
Connect with others in the community
While the event is free, we encourage attendees and community partners to consider supporting the cause through a voluntary donation to the Alzheimerās Association, or by contributing helpful items such as brain activity puzzles and engagement materials for seniors.
These small contributions can make a meaningful difference in supporting individuals living with Dementia and their caregivers.
This event is open to caregivers, families, and community members who want to learn more and support Alzheimerās awareness.
Letās come together to raise awareness and support those impacted by Alzheimerās in our community.
Are you willing to bet on death?
Everyone simply knew him as āHarold,ā one of the many street people who wandered through Las Vegas. He was seemingly a harmless, homeless person who elicited a smile and a muffled laugh whenever he was around ā or so people thought.
No one would ever have imagined what would be found when he met an untimely end, hit by a speeding sportscar in front of the Labachio Hotel and Casino. Only expert sleuthing would produce a winning hand and solve the case.
Become an Investigator and help the Detective and the Charlotte Murder Mystery Company figure out āWHODUNITā
