This beloved event is the grand finale of our fall program, and it welcomes everyone. The Union County Christmas Parade will celebrate its 72nd year on November 23, 2025 at 2 pm. The annual parade winds through the streets of historic Downtown Monroe, NC. School and community groups share holiday spirit with a special appearance by Santa! Join us for the celebration!

Bring the whole family and kick off the season with us in true holiday spirit!
Waxhaw's Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, December 14 at 3 p.m. in downtown Waxhaw.
The parade features local school marching bands, entries and floats by 70 businesses and members of the community and an appearance from a special guest from the North Pole!
Announcers cover the entire parade route to make sure that you hear all of the details about the participants.
Traffic Information/Event Timeline
2:30 p.m.: Parade Route closed to inbound traffic. Outbound traffic may still exit.
2:45 p.m.: Parade Route closed to ALL vehicles.
5:30 p.m.: Parade Route to re-open for vehicles.
