Simon Kerr is the owner at Waxhaw Cycles. He is a skilled bicycle technician and fitting specialist based in Waxhaw, North Carolina.
Simon gained his certification as a bicycle technician from The United Bicycle Institute in Ashland, Oregon and bicycle fitting from Bike Fit, with over 15 years experience in all genre of bikes, you are in good hands. Simon is also a current member of the Professional Bicycle mechanics Association PBMA.
Simon's goal is to make your bike comfortable, safe and most importantly fun.
I recently had the pleasure of taking my Colnago to Simon Kerr at Waxhaw Cycles for a tune-up, and I have to say, I am beyond impressed. Simon brought my bike back to life and made it run like it was brand new again. His meticulous attention to detail and expert craftsmanship are truly remarkable.
I've been around bikes for a long time, and finding a mechanic as skilled and knowledgeable as Simon is rare. He’s not just good at what he does – he’s one of the best bike mechanics I’ve ever worked with. Whether it’s fine-tuning the shifting or getting the brakes dialed in perfectly, Simon’s experience and passion for cycling shine through in every aspect of his work.
But beyond his technical skills, Simon is an all-around great guy. He’s genuinely friendly, and it's clear he takes pride in going the extra mile for his customers.
