May 9 – Muscle Carse amazing rides!
Join us at the "Read it Up" Literacy Celebration, celebrating diverse characters and authors in children’s literature! This vibrant event will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Wonder Academy Creative Arts Preschool and School Age Center from 11 AM - 2 PM, with an Author’s Panel from 2 PM - 3 PM.
Enjoy an exciting lineup featuring authors from across the Carolinas selling their books, a family dance party, delicious food trucks, music by DJ Pre-K, face painting, balloons, a lively story time, a fun photo booth, and plenty of other kid-friendly entertainment. Plus, don't miss an insightful Author's Panel from 2pm-3pm, where current authors will share valuable tips and inspiration for aspiring published writers!
This is an incredible opportunity to celebrate diverse literature, connect with the community, and highlight the importance of representation in children’s books. We look forward to having you join us for this exciting event!
Bring the whole family to Indian Trail for a free concert series, Hits After Six. The concert series is returning to Chestnut Square Park, 320 Chestnut Parkway, Indian Trail, North Carolina, on select Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m.
The series typically features kids activities like a bounce house, face painting and yard games, with dinner available for purchase.
Trial by Fire (Journey tribute)
This is Indian Trail’s biggest family event of the year. The carnival rides are FREE.

Join us for the 12th annual Summer Fun Festival! An evening of food, fun, and fireworks! Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. Free admission, parking, and entertainment. Food is available for purchase. No coolers or pets allowed on site.
On-site parking until 6:00 pm or filled. There will be free shuttle parking from marked lots at Wingate University. The shuttle will run from 6:00 to 10:00.

~9:00 PM: Fireworks displayed over the lake

Carolina Ice Cream & Shaved Ice: Novelty ice cream, shaved ice, water, sweet tea with optional flavoring, warm pretzels with cheese dip, packaged snacks & candy.
100 Main Beef & BBQ: BBQ pork/chicken, ribs, hotdogs, drinks and sides.
Pride Catering: Southern flounder & whiting, polish sausage, chicken tenders, hot dogs, seasoned french fries, lemonade, soda, and water.
Donut I Love You: Mini donuts, hot/iced coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, espressos, Italian cream sodas, and donut sundaes.
KO Food Truck: Tacos, nachos, and burritos
